ACCIONA Photography Award Environment and sostenibility (for residents in Latin America only)

ACCIONA junto a Trasatlántica PHotoEspaña lanzan en 2016 la primera edición del “Premio ACCIONA de fotografía Medio ambiente y sostenibilidad”. Un premio abierto a todos los fotógrafos que tengan la capacidad de descubrir fotográficamente, en los países latinoamericanos, aquellas realidades que reflejen el compromiso y los principios de sostenibilidad de los recursos así como la protección de la biodiversidad.

Un jurado de prestigio, formado por profesionales de la fotografía junto a un representante de ACCIONA -en su compromiso con la cultura y apoyo a la creación-, seleccionará el mejor porfolio, que recibirá un premio de 2.000 euros. Además, el trabajo ganador será publicado en la portada de la página web de PHotoEspaña http://www.phe.es y será expuesto en el contexto de PHotoEspaña 2017, formando parte de la exposición colectiva que el Festival organiza cada año con una selección de los trabajos que han participado en los visionados de porfolios que Trasatlántica organiza en América Latina.

El plazo de preinscripción finaliza el domingo 10 de julio, 2016 y consiste en una serie de un máximo de 15 imágenes, solo para residentes en América Latina. Para más info:

HCB Award 2015. Deadline April 30, 2015.

Presented by the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson every other year, the HCB Award is a prize of 35,000€ intended for photographers who have already completed a significant body of work with an approach close to that of documentary. 

Now accepting entries. Applications are expected until April, 30th.

The prize-winner will be designated in June 2015 by an international jury.

AN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION IN CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY

Call for entries for the Terry O’Neill/TAG Award 2012.

The Terry O’Neill Award has been running since 2007, it has developed through the support of Sunday Times Magazine, Remote New Media, Hotshoe Magazine, and TAG Creative and all the photographers and the photographic industry to become one of the most “hotly” contested photographic Awards of current times.

This year Terry O’Neil/TAG are joined by new sponsors, F22/State Magazine, Hungry Eye, and The Strand Gallery.

The Terry O’Neill Award/TAG is aimed at finding and promoting new talent, creating a platform for upcoming photographers. The Terry O’Neill/TAG Award is unique, as it is based around the series or the narrative; photographers must enter a minimum of 3 pictures a maximum of 6. The categories are open, so photographers can enter fine art, photo-journalism, still-life, portratiture, landscape, wildlife, fashion, in order that they can submit their current photographic practice. The entrance fee is £5 per picture for students and £7 per picture for non-students.

The judges are looking for the strongest series of work and for the strongest narrative.

1ST PRIZE £3000 / 2ND PRIZE£1000 / 3RD PRIZE £500

A selection of the top ten photographers’ work will also be published in a special feature in The Sunday Times magazine

Ten Photographers will be shortlisted for the Award and exhibited at The Strand Gallery in London, in January.

Martel Colour Print will be sponsoring the shortlisted photographers with printing and mounting for the exhibition.

Daylight Magazine Photo Award is an international photography competition.

Multiple entries are permitted, but must be for different bodies of work.

Applicants upload work and submit payment online at http://daylight.slideroom.com, The online system (slideroom) provides a video tutorial as well as step-by-step instructions on how to register and submit your photographs, written materials, and payment.

• You will be asked to provide the following:

20 images, captions, one-page artist’s statement, and CV

There is an entry fee of $40

Deadlines:
