YOU WOULD BE EARTH by Meral Güler (USA) and Dan Porter (UK).

The jury’s citation
You Would Be Earth is a story unanchored in time and space. So difficult to grasp, define and classify. It is enticing yet elusive. Meral Güler and Dan Porter are awarded this prize for their ability to awaken the unknown within us.

The jury’s honourable mention went to Marco Frauchiger (CH) for the book M13.

Jury 2015
The 2015 jury consisted of Per Lindström (Landskrona Foto), Jenny Lindhe (Breadfield), Silvia Loddo (osservatorio fotografico), Nick McLean (Éditions du LIC) and Veronique Bourgoin (artist).

There was a big interest in the Awards and we received 112 Dummies from all over the world. The quality was very high throughout and it was challenging for the jury to select only four projects.

Application

This year the museum only accepts applications that consist of a single pdf file. However, if the exhibition includes video, you can add a link to it instead of sending the video file as an attachment.

The pdf should contain the following elements:

1) A cover page with the name of the applicant (and/or the workgroup), e-mail address and a phone number (country code included).

3) Include a portfolio containing photos of the works to be in the planned exhibition. Indicate each work’s year of completion, dimensions, mode of production etc., and include any information that will help give a picture of the exhibition as a whole. If you are planning to show moving image, please add a link where we can see the work.

4) Include your full contact details and your CV to your application. If the exhibition is produced by a group, please include everyone’s CVs.
