RADAR GROUP CRITIQUE with Alexandra Athanasiadou

DEADLINE: Dec. 13, 2021

DEADLINE: Dec. 13, 2021

Every last Friday of the month we are hosting our Radar Group Critique online meeting, where a maximum of 5 participants have the chance to show a consistent photography project to a professional Guest Critic from the visual arts landscape (e.g. internationally renowned curators, gallerists, festival directors, publishers, editors, artists, etc.).

You will have the opportunity to ask something about your project that you would like to improve and it will also be a great opportunity for you to show your work, get feedback and get in touch with other professionals.

In addition, we will select some of the best portfolios to showcase in an online exhibition on our website and social media channels – so it’s also a great chance to get your work out there!

The next RADAR GROUP CRITIQUE session will be on Friday Dec. 17, with Alexandra Athanasiadou

at 13h EST (Paris Time)

Duration: 60 min.

Alexandra Athanasiadou, Philosophy Photography Lab, Greece

Alexandra Athanasiadou is a researcher in image theory and an art professional with an interdisciplinary approach to photography. She is founder and director of Phlsph – Philosophy Photography Lab (, an online platform created in order to build a community of artists who are interested in philosophy as a way of critical thinking and as a springboard for exploring creativity. Respectively, it is targeted to philosophers and researchers, who are interested in collaborating with artists. She has had more than ten years experience in the photography world, holds a Phd in Philosophy (Aesthetics), and is a graduate of Oxford University (St.Hilda’s College), of Courtauld Art Institute, London, and of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens.

“Alexandra has a brain like a razor blade, cutting right through each paragraph and focusing in on each individual sentence to sharpen and (in my case) shorten the texts. For someone who usually does quite a lot of writing on my own, the sense of companionship and guidance in the process was a wonderful experience that I wouldn’t mind repeating.” Kristine Autzen, Workshop Participant.
