The LBS Photography Awards are now accepting entries for their second edition. A new theme, When Worlds Collide, highlights the power of business innovation to join together previously disconnected ideas. Conceived by an MBA student, the Awards aim to showcase the ways that business shapes lives, communities and the environment.
We invite submissions of five to ten images from both professional and amateur photographers aged over 18 in the UK and worldwide. Eight photo-series will be shortlisted for exhibition at LBS’S London Campus, where the winner will be announced as part of the exhibition’s opening night on 8 May, 2019. The winning entry will receive £ 2,000 cash prize and feature in the London Business School Review (LBSR).
The Awards team are delighted to announce the 2019 jury members; Fiona Rogers, Chief Operating Officer at Magnum Photos and founder of Firecracker, a platform supporting female photographers; Mona Boshnaq, Photo Editor at The New York Times; Andrew Dunnett, Director, Vodafone Foundation; and Michael Benson, Founding Director, Candlestar/Photo London. They will be joined by representatives from the LBS Photography Club.
The submission deadline is Friday 22 March 2019 (23:59 GMT). Applications must be submitted by completing the online application form at lbsphotographyawards.com.
