Tokyo International Photography Competition. Deadline: Aug. 16, 2017.

The Tokyo International Photography Competition is now open for submissions!

This year’s theme will be “BORDERS”, as both physical barriers and as intangible perimeters. Please see below for entry and prize information, including a touring exhibition that will be presented in Tokyo, New York City, and Sydney, Australia.



The Tokyo International Photography Festival competition is open to photographers worldwide and over the age of 18.
THEME: Borders
ENTRY FEE: $40 (USD) per series (up to 6 images)


Three high-profile exhibitions
The winners of the Tokyo International Photography Competition will be showcased as a traveling group exhibition, presented in the following cities:
▪ New York, USA: United Photo Industries Gallery, Winter 2017
▪ Sydney, Australia: Head On Photo Festival, Spring 2018
▪ Tokyo, Japan – T3 Photo Festival (Summer 2018)

A trip to Tokyo
One Grand Prix Winner will be chosen by the Jury to receive a trip to attend the Opening Party of the exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, all expenses paid!
