The Curatorial Opportunity Program (COP) investigates contemporary culture through the visual arts. It makes possible diverse curatorial visions in a non-profit and alternative exhibition space.
Applicants are invited to experiment in a large and unique space. The program encourages the development of emerging curators and artists as curators. Our gallery is a converted church with 1,800 sq. ft. and a 25′ vaulted ceiling. We accept proposals involving two or more artists and at least one public presentation. Curators of accepted proposals receive a $1,000 stipend and administrative, installation, marketing & p.r. support.

The New Art Center in Newton, Massachusetts (a non-profit corporation), provides opportunities for people to connect with their creativity, community and history through artistic experience. The Center offers classes and educational experiences for all ages about enjoying, making, curating and understanding visual art.
