The EPF grant is designed to support continuation of a photographer’s personal project. This body of work may be of either journalistic mission or purely personal artistic imperatives. The grants awarded are: one $10,000 grant and two $2,500 grants. The EPF grant was initiated by David Alan Harvey in 2008, and is awarded by the Magnum Cultural Foundation. Funding for the EPF comes from private donors.

Forms to be filled out

  1. Title of the project:

    200 characters max

  2. Provide a short artist statement about this project:

    2000 characters max

  3. Provide a short bio:

    1000 characters max

  4. Has this project been published before?

  5. If yes, provide the details of the publication:

  6. I understand that all uploaded images must be EXACTLY 1080px on the SHORTEST side, saved as JPG at quality 9 or 10. Video files must be at least 640x480px in size.

    I understand that if these requirements are not met, my project will not be reviewed

Media

Still images must be in jpg format, at 1080px on the SHORTEST side, saved at quality 9 or 10.

Video files can be a .mov, a .wmv or a .flv file format, with minimum dimensions 640x480px.

Provide 1-25 items. Images (up to 5 MB each), Video (up to 60 MB each), Audio (up to 30 MB each) and PDFs (up to 10 MB each). You may also link to media from YouTube, Vimeo and SoundCloud
