The best CARTE DE VISITE for a school are its students (Lumi Awards Winners 2011)

In 2011 twelve influential educational establishments specialized in visual arts was invited to participate in the contest, representing the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Portugal and Spain.The organizing committee received a good number of high quality entries from some truly talented photography students.

The contest Head Judge, Mr. Jens Erdman Rasmussen, Curator of Photography at The National Museum of Photography, Denmark, has now selected the four winners: three Honorary Awards and the First Prize winner (EUR 5000), which will be a part of the permanent LUMI Collection.

The winning work will be revealed officially at the Prize Ceremony in Helsinki, Finland, on 15th December, 2011. The winning work will be displayed at http://www.lumiawards2011.com on the same day.Our heartfelt congratulations to the following talents:
