The SPANISH NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF THE BLIND (ONCE) in the Basque Country is organizing the ELEVENTH PHOTOGRAPHIC CONTEST: “A WORLD FOR ALL: OVERCOMING DISABILITIES”
In support of the arts and culture and the diffusion of disability as avalue the diversity of the society of our days, in the Basque Country ONCE promoting the XI International Photo Contest “A World for All: Overcoming Disabilities” open to all amateur and professional photographers worldwide.
The aim of this contest is to show the reality of people with some kind of disability. The photographer should show everyday situations, which are not so different from the rest of the people, and capture the lights and shadows of the people with a disability, regardless of the part of the world they live in. Each photographer is intended to express his/her own point of view about the disability, in order to get a sample of what the disability represents all over the world.
NUMBER OF WORKS:A maximum of four pieces per photographer, not presented in any previous editions of the present contest. There are three categories: General For the members of ONCE For people with disabilities who are not members of ONCE
PARTICIPATION: Only by the Internet (no other way will be accepted). The enrolment and the photographs shall be sent via our website,www.oncefoto.es,following its instructions.The entry to this contest is free.
AWARDS: FIRST PRIZE: € 1,500, FIAP’s and CEF’s Gold Medal
SECOND PRIZE: € 750, FIAP’s and CEF’s Silver Medal
THIRD PRIZE: € 350, FIAP’s Bronze Medal
TWO CONSOLATION PRIZES: € 350, each, plus CEF’s Silver Medal

La ORGANIZACIÓN NACIONAL DE CIEGOS ESPAÑOLES (ONCE) en el País Vasco convoca el XI CONCURSO FOTOGRÁFICO INTERNACIONAL “UN MUNDO PARA TODOS: SUPERACIÓN DE LAS DISCAPACIDADES”.
Como apoyo al arte y a la cultura y para la difusión de la discapacidad como un valor más en la diversidad de la sociedad de nuestros días, la ONCE en el País Vasco promociona el XI Concurso Internacional de Fotografía “Un mundo para todos: superación de las discapacidades” abierto a todos los fotógrafos aficionados y profesionales de todo el mundo. El objetivo de éste certamen es mostrar la realidad de las personas con algún tipo de discapacidad y que el fotógrafo plasme las situaciones cotidianas y no tan diferentes, del resto de las personas. Que el fotógrafo sepa captar las luces y las sombras de las personas con discapacidad, independientemente del lugar del mundo donde viva. También pretendemos que cada fotógrafo nos transmita su visión particular de la discapacidad, obteniendo así un relato de lo que representa la discapacidad en cada rincón del mundo.
NUMERO DE OBRAS: Máximo de cuatro obras por autor no presentadas en anteriores ediciones de éste concurso. Consta de tres apartados: Apartado general Apartado para personas afiliadas a la ONCE. Apartado para personas con discapacidad y no afiliadas a la ONCE.
MODO DE PARTICIPACIÓN: Únicamente vía Internet.(no se aceptará ninguna otra forma de participación). La inscripción y el envío de las imágenesdesde nuestra web, www.oncefoto.es , siguiendo las instrucciones del programa informático. El concurso no devengará derechos de inscripción.
