Scholarships for Photography Master in Madrid. Deadline 11.2.2011

The IED Institute in Madrid launches 3 scholarships for the European Master of Fine Art Photography. The first prize is a scholarship that covers the cost of the course fee, equivalent to 9.000 €. There will be two second prizes which will cover 50% of the course fee, each equivalent to 4.500 €.
The contest will close on February 11th, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. CET.
The evaluating jury incluyes curator Alejandro Castellote, photographer Javier Vallhonrat and course director Moritz Neumüller.

Scholarships Photography Master Madrid

European Master of Fine Art Photography (EMFAP)
Start Date: April 27, 2011
End Date: March 2012

The EMFAP is based on 3 fundamental premises:
• Its international nature, with a special focus on the European environment.
• The excellence of its faculty.
• Orientation towards artistic projects.

Confirmed docents include Martin Parr, Javier Vallhonrat, Beat Streuli, Joan Fontcuberta, Elger Esser, Andreas Müller-Pohle, Mireia Sallarès, Gergely Laszlo, Harald Hund, Anders Bojen & Kristoffer Ørum, Katja Stuke, Sean Hillen, Comenius Roethlisberger, Francesco Jodice, Horacio Fernández, Alejandro Castellote, Pirkko Siitari, Dinu Li, Irina Tchmyreva, Alexander Streitberger and Timothy Prus.
Our tutors are the young (and talented) photographers Ricardo Cases, Joan Villaplana and Nicolás Combarro.
We have also established Partnerships with some European institutions, such as LUMEN Gallery, Budapest; Image Galleri, Aarhus; European Photography Magazine, Berlin and the European Month of Photography Festivals.
